These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DriveEdCA website and online driver's education course (the "Service"), operated by The Hills Driving School LLC("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, purchasing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

DriveEdCA provides a California-licensed online driver's education course, consisting of course chapters, practice quizzes, a final test, and a mailed certificate of completion for students who pass.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must create an account to access the course. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Payment & Pricing

The course is available for a one-time fee, as displayed on the site at the time of purchase. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.

4. No Refunds

All purchases are final. Once payment is made and course access is granted, we do not offer refunds, credits, or exchanges, regardless of how much of the course has been completed. Please make sure you intend to purchase before completing checkout.

5. Certificate of Completion

Students who pass the final test are asked to complete a short form providing their full legal name, date of birth, and complete mailing address, which we use to mail an official certificate of completion.

If you have not received your certificate within 10 days of finishing the final test and correctly submitting that form, please email Info@TheHillsDriving.com to request it. Please include:

• Your full name
• Your date of birth
• Your complete mailing address, including unit or apartment number if applicable

We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate information submitted on the completion form, or by postal service delays once a certificate has been mailed.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose — completing driver's education for yourself. You may not share your account, misrepresent your identity, or attempt to complete the course on behalf of someone else.

7. Intellectual Property

All course content, materials, graphics, and software on this site are owned by The Hills Driving School LLC or its licensors and may not be copied, redistributed, or used commercially without permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that completing this course will result in passing any DMV test or obtaining a driver's license — those outcomes depend on the DMV and the individual student.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Hills Driving School LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
